Project Wrap-Up... and Something New Coming?

Hello everyone!

Glimmering Crypt of the Ioun King is officially in the books and all wrapped up on our end. I am so very grateful for all the support this project received and how everything turned out with the final product. We had a lot of fun with this one and its only the first in a much bigger series of adventure scenarios set in the Deepearth. 

Here's a few things to keep in mind as things close out:

• All physical books have been shipped. They were shipped in waves, so if you have not yet received your book please be patient. As we all know, the US postal system isn't quite backup to where it used to be just yet, so there have been delays. Fortunately, I have tracking numbers so if anyone needs tracking, please email me at [email protected] and I will get you your information stat!
• PDFs and a VTT map were released a few months ago through a Backer-Only Update, so if you never read the update you might not know where they are. Just go back and look for the update - its there and the link is live. 
• Finally, Planet X Games is gearing up to launch our next Kickstarter... and its a good one, especially if you're a Dungeon Crawl Classics player! Next Tuesday - May 25th - we'll be kickstarting a full-conversion to the DCC ruleset for our very first module Jungle Tomb of the Mummy Bride. Its got a new cover, tons of new art, spells, patrons, magical items and even a whole new "lost level", beautifully illustrated by a host of great artists. Thanks again for everyone who supported this weird little dungeon crawl/sandbox project full of undead dwarf wizards, gelatinous horrors, faceless ooze priests and swirling curse tornadoes! You guys are awesome and there would be no Planet X Games without backers like you. I truly, deeply appreciate your support.

Shipping Begins Tomorrow!

The time has come! Your rewards have landed safe and sound at Planet X headquarters and shipping will begin tomorrow morning. The book looks awesome and the full color map insert looks particularly groovy. We changed up a few small things with this module (including higher quality paper stock) so let us know how you like it!

Here's a few things to remember about the shipping process:

• Shipping is going out in waves. Likely 50-75 books a day, maybe more. 
• Shipping is via media mail.
• Tracking numbers are available by request.
• For those of you with multiple add-ons or extra product, your books are combined for cheaper shipping. All books are protected with a plastic sleeve and hardbacks have corner protectors and bubble wrap. We put multiple do not bend stickers on each package but we do not have control over your mailman's bad habits. If they have a history of shoving stuff in your mailbox, please talk to them in advance. We will do everything on our end - including stickers and stiff inserts to prevent this, but once it leaves here its officially out of our hands.
• If you have a specific concern about your package, please email me at [email protected] and I will do whatever I am able to help you.

Addresses Locking, Cards Charging and More!

Hello everyone! 

Addresses are locking, cards are charging on those shipping and add-on charges and with any luck Glimmering Crypt of the Ioun King will be on its way to us here at Planet X next week. 

We are locked in on schedule and should have your rewards to you this month. We’re ready and shipping will commence as soon as we recieve the modules.

Proofs + A Few Last Minute Bits Before Shipping Commences

Hello everyone!

Before shipping commences for Glimmering Crypt of the Ioun King, I wanted to go over (and gratefully point out) a few things in advance.

• The Backerkit shows 90% of you have completed your surveys which still means there are a handful of people who need to fill out those surveys. Remember, if you don't fill out your survey, I have no way to get your product to you since I don't have your address. Its crucial to fill out the surveys!
• The Backerkit has been running almost the entire month and closes out TOMORROW. If you haven't filled out your survey, please make sure to get it in.
• Proofs arrived and were approved last week. I didn't have an opportunity to post before now but they are looking great. We actually had to go through a few revisions to get the paper stock and gloss just right but thanks to our awesome boots-on-the-ground graphic designer Tracey Steele, we were able to do just that. After reviewing the final physical proof, I can say that they look fantastic!
• All of our past products are available in Backerkit, but if you miss out on it and don't get to it by tomorrow, you can still get everything from our friends at Exalted Funeral. The link to their site is https://www.exaltedfuneral.com/collections/planet-x-games 

• Shipping should begin late in the first week of April or early mid-April, right on schedule. This will be the last Kickstarter that we ship in house and from now on everything will be done through (once again!) the good folks at Exalted Funeral. This is a big step up and ensures that your books get to you faster and with better quality control.

Thanks again to everyone who backed this project. You guys are amazing and the continual support that you show our little indie games company is very much appreciated. We've got a ton of cool stuff on the horizon this year and I can't wait to share it with you guys.
